1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website, services, and ground transportation provided by O'Hare Limo Express (“Company,” “we,” our,” or “us”). By booking a reservation, using our website, or otherwise engaging our services, you (“Customer” or “you”) agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Reservations & Confirmation

All reservations are subject to vehicle and chauffeur availability. Your reservation is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email or SMS from us with a reservation ID.

  • Advance booking: at least 24 hours' notice recommended for airport transfers; 1–2 weeks for weddings, proms, and peak-season group events.
  • Last-minute bookings: often accommodated — call (888) 397-5417.
  • Accurate information: you are responsible for providing correct pickup/drop-off addresses, flight numbers, passenger counts, luggage information, and contact details. Additional charges may apply if incorrect information causes delays, extra stops, or oversized-vehicle substitution.

3. Rates & Payment

All pricing is presented as a flat rate at time of booking. Additional charges may apply for, among other things:

  • Extra stops not included in the original reservation.
  • Wait time beyond any included grace period.
  • Vehicle upgrades or substitutions requested by the Customer.
  • Toll charges where applicable.
  • Additional cleaning fees for excessive mess, bodily fluids, or damage.
  • Gratuity — a minimum 20% chauffeur gratuity is industry standard and greatly appreciated, though not mandatory for most reservations.

Payment methods: we accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) processed securely through Stripe. Payment is typically authorized or charged at the time of booking.

Corporate accounts: businesses may apply for monthly billing with dedicated account management. Contact us to set up a corporate account.

4. Cancellations & No-Shows

Plans change, and we try to be reasonable. The following schedule applies unless a different policy is explicitly stated at booking:

  • Sedan / SUV airport transfers: cancellations made more than 24 hours before scheduled pickup are fully refundable. Cancellations within 24 hours may be charged up to 100% of the fare.
  • Stretch limos, Sprinter vans, party buses: cancellations require at least 72 hours' notice for a full refund. Cancellations within 72 hours may be charged up to 100% of the fare.
  • Weddings, proms, and multi-vehicle events: a deposit (typically 25–50%) may be non-refundable if the event is within 14 days.
  • No-show: if the Customer fails to appear at the pickup location within 30 minutes of the scheduled time (airport pickups) or 15 minutes (non-airport pickups) without notice, the reservation is considered a no-show and the full fare may be charged.

5. Wait Time & Late Arrivals

Airport pickups: we include complimentary wait time of up to 60 minutes for domestic arrivals and 90 minutes for international arrivals, measured from actual flight-landed time. Wait time beyond that is billed at the applicable hourly rate.

Non-airport pickups: 10 minutes of complimentary wait time. Additional wait time is billed at the applicable hourly rate, prorated in 15-minute increments.

Customer late arrivals: if you are running late to a non-airport pickup, please call us. If you are more than 60 minutes late without contacting us, we may release the vehicle and the trip is considered a no-show (see Section 4).

6. Vehicle Conduct, Damage & Cleaning

By accepting a vehicle from us, the Customer agrees that:

  • No smoking of any kind is permitted inside our vehicles. Violations result in a minimum $250 cleaning and restocking fee.
  • Food and beverages are permitted in most vehicles but the Customer is responsible for any damage or excessive mess caused. Bodily fluid cleanup (vomit, blood) incurs a minimum $350 sanitation fee.
  • No illegal substances may be consumed, used, or transported in our vehicles. Violations result in immediate termination of service with no refund and may be reported to authorities.
  • Alcohol consumption is permitted only by passengers 21 years of age or older and must comply with Illinois open-container laws.
  • Seat belts must be worn as required by law.
  • Damage to the vehicle (interior, exterior, or contents) caused by the Customer or any passenger in their party will be billed at actual repair or replacement cost, plus reasonable lost-use downtime.
  • Capacity: maximum passenger counts are strictly observed for safety. Exceeding capacity may result in service refusal.

7. Chauffeur Authority & Right to Refuse

Our chauffeurs are licensed professionals trained for safety. In the interest of passenger and driver safety, we reserve the right to:

  • Refuse or terminate service to any passenger exhibiting abusive, threatening, or unsafe behavior.
  • Refuse to transport more passengers than the vehicle's capacity.
  • Decline to enter areas the chauffeur deems unsafe, inaccessible, or illegal.
  • Terminate a trip early without refund if the Customer violates these Terms or applicable law.

Chauffeur decisions regarding routing, traffic re-routing, and vehicle safety are final.

8. Liability & Limitations

Insurance: O'Hare Limo Express maintains commercial auto liability and general liability insurance meeting or exceeding Illinois state requirements. Evidence of insurance is available on request.

Missed flights & connections: we use commercially reasonable efforts to deliver Customers to airports on time. We are not liable for missed flights, missed connections, or related consequential damages due to events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to: traffic congestion, road closures, weather, accidents, mechanical failure of third-party infrastructure, or Customer delays. We strongly recommend scheduling pickups at least 2.5 hours before domestic flight departures and 3.5 hours before international departures.

Personal property: Customers are responsible for their own luggage and belongings. While our chauffeurs make every reasonable effort to assist, we are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items left in our vehicles. Found items are held for 30 days and may be returned at the Customer's expense.

Maximum liability: TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO A RESERVATION SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY THE CUSTOMER FOR THAT RESERVATION. WE DISCLAIM ALL INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, AND SPECIAL DAMAGES.

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation: acts of God, severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, strikes, government action, airport closures, road closures, power outages, or telecommunications failures. In such events, we will use reasonable efforts to reschedule or refund affected reservations.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless O'Hare Limo Express, its affiliates, chauffeurs, and employees from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) damage caused by you or your party to our vehicles; (c) your violation of any law or third-party rights; or (d) content you submit (e.g., reviews, communications).

11. Intellectual Property

The content on our website — including text, graphics, logos, the O'Hare Limo Express name and branding, photos, and videos — is owned by or licensed to us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Governing law: these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Informal resolution: before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at info@oharelimoexpress.com to attempt a good-faith resolution. Most disputes can be resolved directly.

Venue: any unresolved disputes shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.

Waiver of jury trial & class actions: to the fullest extent permitted by law, you and O'Hare Limo Express each waive any right to a jury trial and agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only, not as part of any class or representative action.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be communicated more prominently (e.g., email or homepage notice).

14. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and O'Hare Limo Express regarding your use of our services.
